JUSTIÇA - REALIZADORES
Alguns dos homens de maior talento nunca foram recompensados pela Academia. Outros foram-no mas menos do que mereciam. E houve casos de realizadores eleitos sem se perceber muito bem porquê. O Pipoca muda a história!
Porque será que Martin Scorcese, Nicholas Ray, Howard Hawks ou Tim Burton não têm uma estatueta dourada em casa? Ou porque é que Spielberg teve de esperar pela Lista de Schindler e Coppola pelo Padrinho II para ouvir o seu nome?
Todas estas histórias que aos amantes do cinema parecem rocambolescas têm um final aqui. O Pipoca refaz a história como ela deveria ter de facto acontecido.

Posted by Miguel Lourenço Pereira at fevereiro 23, 2004 11:59 PMEh pá, em 1948, melhor que o Hawks no Red River só o Houston, mas a ele já dou óscares depois e o Hawks, como sabes, é grande. O 2001 apareceu num ano muito fraco e é um grande trabalho de realização. Não gosto, mas admito que o é.
Quanto ao Casablanca, sabes quanto o venero mas o que faz o Michael Curtiz? O filme é todo o argumento e a profundidade das interpretações, enquanto que no Heaven Can Wait, o trabalho do Lubitsch é sublime. Daí a diferença.
Para quem não gostava do «Red River» de 1948, nem do «2001», andas a mudar muito de opinião. É só para dar o prémio ao realizador? Não nos podemos esquecer que um filme é obra de um autor. Os filmes também contam?
PS - não sabia que eras capaz de trocar o «Heaven can wait» pelo «Casablanca»... ha, o Lubitsch pelo Michael Curtiz.
